THATCamp Switzerland – Session proposals

Registrations for the THATCamp Switzerland are progressing well and we have already received many proposals for exciting sessions.

Fellowships for THATCamp Switzerland

Through the generosity of the Mellon Foundation, THATCamp offer fellowships in the amount of $500 (USD) and $250 (USD) to encourage people to come to THATCamp to begin acquiring digital skills.

L’université de Lausanne accueille le premier THATCamp Switzerland

Vendredi 11 et samedi 12 novembre 2011: l’UNIL accueille le premier THATCamp Switzerland

Organisé par infoclio.ch, hist.net et l’association Histoire et Informatique, en collaboration avec les Archives fédérales suisses, le Historisches Seminar de Bâle et la coordination E-learning de l’université de Zurich, l’université de Lausanne accueille pour la première fois sur sol suisse cette manifestation typique des «Digital Humanities», le THATCamp: étudiants, doctorants et chercheurs de grands noms se rassembleront du vendredi 11 novembre à 11h au samedi 12 novembre à 17h à l’Amphimax sur le campus de l’UNIL.

Après la conférence inaugurale de Willard McCarty (King’s College, London), la première demi-journée sera consacrée à des ateliers pratiques pour débutants ou niveaux avancés (Zotero, Lit-Link, XML, auto-archivage, RSS, Twitter, Emulators, etc.). La seconde journée sera animée par des ateliers de recherche et de réflexion fondamentale avec notamment la participation de Willard McCarty (UK), Mills Kelly (CHMN, USA), Pierre Mounier et Marin Dacos (CLEO, Paris), Jakob Krameritsch et Martin Gasteiner (Vienne), Frédéric Clavert (Luxembourg).
